First, I will need to confirm that the date you have in mind for your wedding or photoshoot is available. Then we can meet up - either by telephone, skype, or (preferably) in person - so I can meet your lovely face, drink a lemonade (or bloody mary - I’m not fussed), and we can discuss the nuts and bolts of our photoshoot together.

If after our chat we mutually decide to go ahead, and have decided on a date, you will be invoiced for payment to lock in your booking. The 'All Day Baby' wedding photography package requires a 30% retainer to be paid upfront upon invoice. All other wedding bookings require a full 50% retainer to be paid upfront upon invoice. Other photoshoots require full payment upfront upon invoice.

Will I have to purchase high resolution edited images on top of my lifestyle photoshoot/wedding fee?

No way Josè! After your photoshoot, I lovingly edit all of the most gorgeous images for you, and will provide them to you in high resolution - unwatermarked and in high quality for your own personal use - ready for print. You are free to send a copy to your family members, or to make fun prints to stick up all over your home, or whatever you like!

I don't hold your images to ransom. My packages are all inclusive of the first round of editing time, and high quality, print ready JPEG images released to you for personal use.

If you would like some help in the printing department, you are welcome to place your print or album order with me - for something glorious, proper and archival. But you are in no way obliged to.

Can additional hours be added to our photoshoot time?

If your event or wedding is raging a little later than anticipated, and there’s just not enough time to cram in all the awesome, additional shoot time can be purchased - subject to availability. Each additional hour you purchase can be paid either upfront, or within one week of your event in arrears upon invoice. Whichever is most appropriate for you. Additional photography time can be added to any wedding booking for $300 per hour.

Please note, post-production work on photographs will commence after your photoshoot has been paid up-to-date.

Can we have a second photographer for all or some of our wedding?

If your guest list does not exceed around 120 guests, I am more than able to shoot the wedding as a lone wolf. Weddings of more than 120 guests, I would definitely recommend it - just so there's enough time/cameras/hands to capture all of your gorgeous guests enjoying themselves!

In the event that you're after a second photographer, I can arrange this for you at the rate of $300/hour - capped at $1500. Usually, most people who take advantage of a second photographer will only need around 2-3 hours of extra coverage.

If you'd like a second photographer for the WHOLE day (who will shoot for the same amount of time as I will), this is $1500.

How long after my photoshoot will my images be available to view?

I edit all of my own work - which can be a very time consuming (albeit enjoyable) activity. Because of this, turn around times for your images may vary depending on what other photography work I have going on around the time of your booking. I will communicate this to you when we meet up!

For weddings, I edit all of my own work! Yes, I am a little bit crazy, but I really do enjoy it. Post-production of images can typically take anywhere between 8-12 weeks (sometimes quicker - depending on my workload). For other photoshoots, post-production of images can typically take anywhere between 2 - 4 weeks.

If you are working to a deadline for the photographs you require for any given reason, be sure to discuss it with me prior to your photoshoot. Every effort will be made to accommodate reasonable requests.

Can we have a handful of preview shots after our wedding?

Yes! Of course. If you'd like a small gallery of preview images from your wedding day, please let me know. I can do this within one week of your wedding - so that you've got something nice to share online, or show your pals at work, or send to your family overseas, or to update your profile pic.

We'd like to have a really luscious wedding album made for us after the wedding. Do you offer those?

As for an album, YES! I can definitely design a beautiful Australian-made album for you.

Specs: 10x10" hardcover, lay-flat album, with beautiful debossed linen cover - with 25 spreads (fifty sides). Printing is on luscious archival matte stock with pigment ink. 

This premium product is certified archival (it'll last a dang lifetime if you treat her right!) - and is really quite a magical thing to behold.

The cost for this is $1500 if added to your initial booking, or $1800 if you decide to get one after your wedding.

What are your terms for payment?

To book your wedding photography and secure your wedding date, a retainer equal to 50% of your total wedding package is required upfront upon invoice (30% if you book all day coverage). The remaining amount is due no later than four weeks prior to your wedding date.

If you'd rather pay in instalments, let me know what will work for you and we can work out a schedule together.

To book a photoshoot, full payment is required upfront upon invoice.

I accept direct deposit, cheque, Australian money order, or cash. Payments may also be accepted in the form of song and dance**.

Will I be charged travel or accommodation fees?

Weddings located within 100km of Port Adelaide, South Australia require no additional travel or accommodation fees. For other photoshoots, 50km of travel from Port Adelaide, South Australia is included with your session fee. For any locations outside of these parameters, reasonable travel and accommodation fees may apply in addition to the price of your photoshoot, and are by negotiation. 

For INTERSTATE weddings, or any wedding more than 400km away from Adelaide CBD, you'll need to book my 'All Day Baby' package.

What happens if I need to change the date of my photoshoot?

Things happen. Life gets crazy. I understand! If you need to change the date of your booking for any reason, I will do my best to fit in with you. You will not be penalised for date changes, however, please be aware that requests for specific alternative dates are by negotiation, and will be subject to availability.

What if I need to cancel my photoshoot?

For weddings, a cancellation in writing received with at least six months prior notice of your booked date is entitled to a refund of half your retainer.

For cancellations that occur within six months of your originally intended wedding date, your initial retainer, as well as all other monies paid is deemed as forfeited.

Photoshoots other than weddings that have not occurred are eligible for cancellation up to the day of your booking. If you do not wish to re-book at the time of your cancellation, you are entitled to a full refund, less a 10% retainer of the total cost of your photoshoot. 

Alternatively, you are welcome to re-schedule the date of your photoshoot at no additional cost to you - pending availability. Pre-paid travel fees are not refundable if transport arrangements have already been made.  In the event that a photoshoot needs to be re-scheduled, additional travel or accommodation expenses may apply.

Can I have access to the original/unedited digital files from my photoshoot?

No way! Lol.

Have you got insurance?

That's a BIG FAT YES. I have: equipment insurance, public liability insurance, and domestic travel insurance. If your photoshoot venue requires my certificate of insurance, let me know and I will send it over.

So you're going to be around my newborn/other immunocompromised loved one - are you vaccinated?

Another BIG FAT YES from me. I am fully vaccinated and up to date. Fun!

What is inside your camera bag?

It does not take a fancy camera to make a beautiful photograph. Good composition, decisiveness, and an understanding and obsession with light are what truly matters - no matter what your device.

I take pictures every single day. My most used cameras are: my trusty iPhone 8, my 50 year old 35mm Ricoh SLR, my plastic fantastic 35mm Lomography Action Sampler, my Fujifilm Instax wide and, the mothership, my Canon 5d Mark IV.

For professional work I shoot with two Canon 5d MkIV, with these lenses: 35mm f1.4L, 50mm f1.2L, 85mm f1.2L,135mm f2L, and 24-70mm f2.8L
